Payment Options
The Town of Four Oaks offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Phone payments and drive-thru payments will be reduced in 2026, so please begin transitioning to one of the following options as soon as possible.
Bills are mailed on the last business day of each month and are due by 5:00 pm on the 15th of the following month to avoid a 10% late fee.
Cutoffs for non-payment of a previous balance will be on the 3rd of each month at 1:00 pm. The fee for non-payment / reconnection is $100.00.
Online Bill Payment
If paying your bill online, just click on the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button. Have your account number handy and follow the prompts.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill. Your check MUST reach our office ON or BEFORE the 15th of the Month to avoid the late fee.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, contact DeAnna Haley at 984-209-4790.
Payment Drop-Off Location
You may use our payment slot on the back door after hours if you are paying by check or money order. Cash payments are not accepted in the drop box. In 2026 we will be reducing the use of the drive-thru window, so please utilize our online payments with NO associated fees. Customers paying cash need to begin transitioning to online bill pay in 2026.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information. Please make sure with your bank that your check will arrive on or before the 15th to avoid a late fee.
